Homemade Zucchini, Ricotta and Onion Pizza

What do you do with left over zucchini, red onion, green onion and ricotta? Well, we make homemade pizza out of it. So I pulled out my favorite pizza dough recipe and we got to building our pizza pie.

I brushed the edges of the crust with olive oil and seasoned the pizza with Penzey's garlic powder and pasta sprinkle. The end results were quite yummy. It also made us think that we should start making homemade pizzas more often. It also inspired the desire to tweak the pizza dough recipe for future pizzas. I'd like a bit of a sweeter dough similar to California Pizza Kitchen. So I think next time we might experiment with honey as the sweetener. We'll see what happens.
