- Garlic summer sausage from Dominion Valley Farm
- 1 pound ground grass-fed beef from Trautman Family Farm (and you can join their Facebook group)
- 1 quart chocolate milk and 1 quart reduced-fat milk from Crystal Ball Farms
- 2 pounds potatoes, 1 pound white onion, 1 pound red onion (some of the best red onions we've ever seen) from JenEhr Family Farm
- 1 box of dark chocolate caramels with sea salt from Becky's Blissful Bakery
There was so much more that we would have liked to have purchased. The market has definitely improved in the quality and range of products since we last visited. If you haven't checked it out yet, the market is each Saturday until April 24 at the Tommy G. Thompson Center in State Fair Park.
If you went this past weekend, what did you bring home?

Excellent haul! We've been absolutely LOVING the winter market. Jen Ehr's produce has been positively inspiring (we were sad not to get there early enough for the pea shoots they're growing now). And Dominion farms has possibly THE BEST pork I've ever eaten.
We buy our Crystal Ball milk from Outpost -- but I'm so glad they're getting a showing at the market. Lots of friend shave discovered them there... and their milk ROCKS (and not just because it's non-homogenized, so it's naturally better for you!!)
Love it!
I'm one of the friends who discovered the Crystal Ball milk... I dare say I'd pay $15 a gallon for this stuff, makes great yogurt too. You know you've got it bad when you want milk over any other beverage because it tastes better than anything you can think of!
I somehow missed the Crystal Ball Farms milk on a recent visit to the market, but I couldn't resist the dark chocolate caramels, you know, for the kids.
