Pickled Jalapeno and Cheese Crescent Poppers

Most of the time, our meals for the week are planned out on the weekends. But sometimes we change things during the week and we're left with a meal or two with no plans.

That happened recently and we had no idea what to make for supper. Thankfully, as Melissa was getting close to finishing work for the day, she found a recipe to inspire her: Jalapeno Cream Cheese Crescent Poppers. (The recipe was found through Tasty Kitchen and Pinterest.)

These would make an amazing party snack, but we had them for supper and they, surprisingly, held up quite well as a main course. And, yes, they were a bit spicy at times, although not too bad.

Pickled Jalapeno and Cheese Crescent Poppers
1 cup reduced-fat cream cheese
1/4 cup mayo
1/2 cup shredded cheddar
pickled jalapenos
1/2 lime, juiced
2 tubes crescent rolls

1. Mix cream cheese, mayo, cheddar, pickled jalapenos and lime juice together.

2. Spread mixture on crescent rolls and roll up. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to help slice easier.

3. Slice and bake for 20 minutes at 375 degrees.
