As the summer fades and turns to fall (and then quickly to winter), we embark on a culinary journey to our bread flour bin each weekend, when Melissa makes a pair of pizza doughs. We have one Saturday night and one Sunday for lunch.
It's great, and we love our hearty pizza tradition. But every once in a while we want to change it up or see a recipe we'd love to try. That was what happened when Melissa spied the Red Onion, Potato and Goat Cheese Pizza recipe from Cooking Light.
The pizza was great, with the fingerling potatoes providing a heartiness, and the goat cheese a bit a sweetness and creaminess. It was a wonderful way to preserve our pizza tradition while at the same time trying something a little bit different.
Maybe our next one will be a mac and cheese pizza?
