Baked Pasta with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cheese

Cooking Light has been our savior recently. With our heavy seasonal baking schedule, we've relied heavily on tried-and-true recipes. And we've been helping out some friends by cooking for them occasionally. So the Baked Pasta with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cheese sounded like the perfect option to fill our -- and their -- stomachs.

The noodles in our dish were cooked well, just about al dente before meeting the oven. We substituted ground turkey for turkey sausage, so the consistency was a bit different for ours than it would be for the recipe. However, it spared us a bit of work, and we were thankful for that. Otherwise, the flavors were good and the serving size was hardy.
