The event featured heritage pigs, which are pure breeds of hogs. Each breed has its own characteristics.
This was the second such event, with the first one being held in Madison in October 2011. Attendees were able to try out pork dishes that various restaurants and chefs prepared. Each restaurant/chef had about 3 to 6 dishes each, and some taverns and other vendors served out craft cocktails.
