Philly Cheesesteak Sloppy Joes

I mentioned Pinterest before, but let's discuss it a bit more. It's a visual bookmarking site that collects "pins" based on interests, which are named "boards." Want a sample? View the everything board, a collection of random pins from all users.

One of the ways we've been using Pinterest is to find new recipes and foods to try. It's easy and fun to scroll through the visual pages of food. That's how Melissa came across a pin for Philly Cheesesteak Sloppy Joes.

We diverged from the A Taste of Home Cooking recipe a bit. The sauce was not as thick as we wanted it, so Melissa whisked in 2 tablespoons of flour. In addition, Melissa added 1 teaspoon of soy sauce and 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce to provide a more robust depth of flavors. The sauce simmered until it thickened a bit.

Also, the provolone sauce didn't work for us -- we're not sure what went wrong -- so instead we just shredded some provolone on top of the sloppy joes.
